Tracking your Grocery/Drug Store Savings

Another couponing site posted a Grocery Savings tracker yesterday. I think it's a great resource for those of us who have made saving a priority this year. I took a look at it and it only had the first half of the year (you would've had to adjust the spreadsheet and copy formulas, and hope you did it correctly). I just added in the rest of the year for you and made a few other minor adjustments.

Click here to get the tracker. Just click the "Download" button in the middle of the next screen. It is a Microsoft Excel file.

You will only need to adjust the information in the green squares. I have it starting on week ending 1/8 instead of 1/1 because I didn't think it was fair to track the last week of 2010 since our resolutions didn't start until yesterday. Feel free to change the date in green on the tracker. All of the other dates will adjust on their own.

In the other two green columns, you just need to enter your total amount spent for the week and your total amount saved for the week. The total amount saved is usually printed on your receipt and will include money off from your store savings card as well as any coupons you used.

If you want the original tracker, you can get it here at Southern Savers' website.

If you ever need to re-download the tracker, it's going to be in the Get Help Here section on the right side of the screen.
