Great news for Stop & Shop customers!

I just got my Stop & Shop flier in the mail for the upcoming ad. I'm SO excited that they're finally bringing the gas rewards program to NYC. Here's how it works:

You earn one point for every dollar you spend in the store (using your card). For every 100 points on your Stop & Shop card, you'll receive 10¢ off each gallon of gas at participating Shell stations. If you have 200 points, you'll get 20¢ off and if you have 300 points, you'll get a 30¢/gallon savings! This new rewards program starts this Friday, April 29th.

There are three coupons in this week's flier (for those who have it sent to them by mail). Each of these special store coupons will double a $1 manufacturer's coupon. If you shop at Stop & Shop, you can click here to sign up to receive the weekly ads by mail and get those beneficial extra coupons. I've noticed that they release them at least once per month.

  1. hi there, i don't understand what you mean by "each of these special store coupons will double a $1 manufacturer's coupon." i thought stop & shop automatically doubled coupons up to $1?

  2. Stop & Shop doubles coupons that are .99¢ and under. These 3 "special" store coupons will let you double a $1 off coupon.

  3. thank you for the clarification. so if one presented a $1off coupon at stop & shop would they just double it to .99 cents? sorry i'm confused.

  4. If you have a $1 off coupon at Stop & Shop, it's only worth $1. However, if you have a .99¢ coupon, it's worth $1.98.

Unless, of course, you have one of their special store coupons that lets you double a $1 coupon. Then, that coupon would be worth $2.
