Winner Announcement: Amazon.com $5 Gift Card Code Giveaway Game

~~~
Congratulations to Mary Garner! Mary guessed that I spent $65 and saved $55. The actual totals were $67.60 and $55.22. I only used 4 coupons during this trip, which I actually found in the store while I was shopping.
If you don't have time to clip coupons, I definitely recommend shopping based on the store ad to save money. If you don't live in NYC, find a coupon match-up blog in your area and go down the list for your grocery store. Many coupons can be found online these days, and a coupon match-up site (like this one) will give you a link to a printable coupon next to the item that is on sale at the grocery store. You don't have to worry about clipping everything out of the Sunday paper and organizing coupons, but you'll still save a bundle. If you need help finding a coupon match-up site in your area, email me at brooklyn.bargainsita@yahoo.com and I'll find one for you. :)
I had to head over to Stop & Shop today to finish up my March frozen food deal. (They are offering $25 off of your next grocery trip if you spent $100 on frozen food items between March 1st-24th.) Instead of just telling you how much I saved and how much I spent, I thought it would be fun to let you guess for the chance to win a prize. You will need to be a Facebook follower of Brooklyn Bargainista to enter this giveaway.
Keep in mind that your answer doesn't have to be correct to win. It just needs to be closer than everyone else's. ;-)
What did I buy?
7 Mrs. Paul's Beer Battered Fish, 7 Birds Eye Vegetables, 4 Banquet Brown N Serve Turkey Sausage Patties, 2 Stop & Shop 16oz Butters, 2 Loaves Stop & Shop Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread, 2 Simply Orange 59oz Juices, 6 Lean Cuisine Meals, 6 Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits
Hint:
1. If you add your numbers together, your total should equal $122.82.
The rules:
The giveaway will be open until midnight on Friday 3/25. You are only allowed to enter one guess. I'll post a photo of the bottom of my receipt when the giveaway is over so that you can see how much I spent and saved. To determine the winner, I will add the differences between your guesses and the real totals. For instance, if you are off by $3.14 on my total and $2.45 on my savings, then your number will be 5.59. The person with the lowest number will be the winner. Good luck!!!
