I found out about this company this morning and I'm already planning a trip! Megabus offers rides on their double-decker, wi-fi enabled, potty-included busses for as low as $1, plus a 50¢ booking fee. They caught my attention because their giving away 200,000 seats for FREE rides for travel between Jan 12th and March 1st. You'll need the promo code WOW200K to get your free seats, but even without this freebie code, it's a great deal. I did a quick search from here to DC for my family of 4. It was free for certain times of the day and $8 each way for the most expensive fare. Here are the cities you can get to from here:
